A note from Carlos Figueroa, founder of Cali Fire Protection

 “I got my start in this industry over a decade ago, working under Dean Sinclair, who became both a mentor and a  friend. Dean’s family has a long history in fire protection and plumbing here in California—starting back in 1948 when his grandfather, Ed Sinclair, founded Sinclair Plumbing. The Sinclair family eventually brought that legacy to Marin, where Dean opened Sinclair Fire Protection in 2005.

I joined Dean’s team not long after, learned everything on the job, and spent years installing systems, meeting with fire marshals, and learning what it means to do the job the right way.

Years ago, Dean and I talked about what it might look like if I ever started a company of my own. When he eventually retired, that conversation turned into a reality with his support. 

Now I’m proud to carry on the legacy with the same attention to detail, creative thinking, and work ethic I was taught from day one. Our team brings deep local knowledge, strong relationships with inspectors, and a commitment to protecting homes and businesses across Marin and Sonoma counties.
